All people involved in the Hempstead fatal crash identified

Police identified all the people involved in the single vehicle crash on Meadowbrook State Parkway south at Exit 9, Merrick Road. The incident happened on June 8 around 11:45am. The driver, a 15 year old female lost control of a stolen vehicle and crashed into the woods after flipping several times. The dead are Herbert Leo Aviles Maravilla, 16, Marlon Carbajal, 15, and David Sanchez, 13. The injured are Cindy Sanchez, Diego Aviles Maravilla, 15, Mayela Flores, 15, Kevin Robles, 16, Lisbeth Menjivar, 16, Walter Ochoa, 17, and Gael Sanchez, 18 months.
