All lanes closed on Van Wyck Expressway due to fatal accident

Van Wyck Expressway southbound at Hillside Avenue, multiple vehicle accident. Now reporting fatal with one dead. A motorcycle rider struck by SUV and dragged on the expressway. The driver of SUV remained on the scene and is cooperating with police. The SUV is a yellow NYC taxi. Ongoing investigation. Reported 5:30am.
