All lanes are closed on the SSP westbound

Police are on the Southern State Parkway westbound reporting multiple vehicle accident with injuries. This is by Exit 15, Corona Avenue in Valley Stream.

EMS reported one of the vehicle hit a tree and also reported there are children with injuries.

Chopper is now landing on the parkway for transport.

ESU is working on the scene.

Heavy delays all around including eastbound due to onlookers.

Ongoing investigation.
