After Main Street in Flushing next is Northern Blvd

The busways in Main Street, Flushing are on target to become permanent along with Jamaica Avenue in Jamaica.

The Main Street project was launched in January 2021.

Next on the list for MTA is Northern Blvd from Jackson Heights to Corona. The stretch from 114th Street to Broadway will be adding red colors in both directions for bus lanes only this year.

The other location in Queens is 21st Street from the Queensboro Bridge to the Triboro Bridge.

Hillside Avenue is on the list but no timetable for now.

As for Queens Blvd, municipal workers are learning math with diagrams to determine what's best for public transportation.

More cameras, lights and other fancy features will be added to the newly added bus lanes.
