More than 6,000 signatures collected to bring ferry service to Canarsie, Brooklyn. 

Local city councilman Alan Maisel supports the plan. So far, Flushing Creek is the one gaining the most attention due to commute from airports to city. 

Starting January 2019, the city will release a public statement of the possible future locations. Beside the civilian support, the city will have to see community boards and elected officials response.
