Adult lead poisoning case was associated with the use of Ayurvedic medications from India

These medications may have dangerous levels of lead, mercury and arsenic. If you use Ayurvedic medications, ask your doctor for a blood lead test. Certain dietary supplements or traditional health remedies may be harmful because they contain dangerous chemicals or high levels of heavy metals, such as lead, mercury or arsenic.
