A woman robbed in the parking lot at Massapequa

Police reported a woman was robbed in the parking lot at 5523 Merrick Road in Massapequa. It happened on February 16 around 1:30am. The suspect approached the female victim from behind and displayed a gun demanding wallet and phone. The victim compiled and the suspect took off on foot toward Merrick Road eastbound. Police described the suspect as male, 6 feet tall and was wearing all black clothing with mask. Ongoing investigation.
