A woman ordeal on the Belt Parkway involving insurance scam

On October 16 around 11am, a victim was targeted for an insurance scam on the Belt Parkway. Thanks to the dashcam, police are now investigating the incident.

The NYPD reported this is a gang activity on major highways and parkways targeting luxury vehicles for insurance fraud.

Also, the NYPD is advising all to set up dashcam on all four sides as evidence during investigation.

The video has garnered over 7 million unique views.

The NYPD has not released a report on this investigation since it's ongoing.
