A victim robbed after misleading with false message in New Hyde Park

Police reported a female victim was robbed on 264 Street and 76th Avenue in New Hyde Park. It happened around 1pm on July 22. A suspect approached the victim while getting into the car and stated of interest in purchasing it. From there, the suspect took off with the vehicle after the victim agreed by giving a key for a test drive but never came back. The vehicle was later found in the parking lot of Glen Oaks Village Co-op.
