A police officer from 105th Precinct shot in the head in Queens Village

It happened on Saturday, May 2 around 6:15pm in Queens Village. An officer in plainclothes while on duty approached two suspects, a black male and a female on the corner of 104th Avenue and 212th Street in Queens Village for questioning after a report from dispatcher for a possible gun possession alerted by a 911 caller. Afterwards, the officer was shot in the head after a confrontation and both suspects took off on foot.
