A pedestrian struck by vehicle in Plainview

The Homicide Squad reports the details of an auto accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. in Plainview.

According to Detectives, a female, 63, was walking in the parking lot of 401 South Oyster Bay Road when she was struck by an SUV. The female was transported to an area hospital with serious head trauma and is currently in critical condition. The operator of the SUV remained at scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
