A pedestrian struck by vehicle in Oceanside

The NCPD report the details of a Serious Auto Accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 6:18 pm in Oceanside.

According to Detectives, a male, 51, was operating a 2016 Ford Edge northbound on Oceanside Road in the vicinity of Lindbergh Avenue where he struck a 20-year-old male pedestrian. As a result of the collision, the pedestrian suffered multiple trauma injuries and was transported to an area hospital. He is listed in critical condition.

The driver remained at scene.

The vehicle went through a brake and safety check.
