A pedestrian struck by vehicle in Long Island

Police are at S 6th Street and W Hoffman Avenue in Lindenhurst reporting a pedestrian struck by vehicle. EMS transported the victim to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police.
