A pedestrian struck by vehicle in Glen Oaks

Police reported a pedestrian struck by vehicle on Union Turnpike and 255 Street in Glen Oaks.

It happened around 9am when the victim was crossing the walkway. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
