A new love enforcement coming to NYC

A call to 311 now includes illegal sales of nickel and dime bags will be enforced by the NYC Sheriff's Office. The NYS Office of Cannabis Management has been authorized to enforce independent sellers without license of unlawful cannabis will face a fine of $50 for first offense. Commercial establishments can face up to $5,000 for repeat offenses. At the same time, the sheriff can seize any and all cannabis and cannabis products from unlicensed entities, as well as require such entities to cease all cannabis related activity. However, the sheriff has no power to arrest but can refer to law enforcement for further activities.

This means anyone operating out of residence is included if complaint is made to 311 or local street hangout to be cool in NYC.

Only licensed cannabis dispensaries are legal place to buy authorized by the state.
