A new lot hit the market in Bayside awaiting community forecast

A new listing is on the market and it's the long time location of the franchise Wendy's on Northern Blvd in-between Burger King and Dunkin Donuts near the Cross Island Parkway.

The asking price is $8.5 million dollars listed with Marcus & Millichap of Manhattan.

Wendy's has been operating in the same lot since 1985 with an option to extend the lease to 2031.

The total 18,600 square feet is zoned for R6B/C2-2 if variance is approved by the community.

The Burger King next door at one time was facing closure back in 2015 to make way for development with three floors but the deal was not finalized. Now it's a combo with Popeye's.

The wait and watch is the community's involvement if a new buyer is in place with the location.
