A desperate hawk seen helpless in Glen Oaks

Police were called multiple times from 3:30am to all morning when a hawk was seen limping in the vicinity of Little Neck Parkway and 74th Avenue in Glen Oaks.

One resident spotted the hawk on 254 Street and 74th Avenue around 7am and called security and 911. The resident waited for an hour and no one showed up but had to go to work.

The hawk was still there in the rain soaking wet. After an hour police called the resident of where the hawk was. The hawk is still roaming in Glen Oaks helpless.

Police have notified ACC, Animal Control Care awaiting for action.

Meanwhile if anyone see the hawk call 911.
