A Union Turnpike location in NHP filed for cannabis license

The former location of CitiBank on the corner of Union Turnpike near Lakeville Road has a new tenant applied for a cannabis license. This is listed with NYS for the Queens market.

The company, Herbhub is on the list for the next license awaiting approval.

Although the local community has been notified, neighboring Nassau County residents are not pleased with the outcome.

A meeting is underway tonight at the Lakeville Estates with zoom meet according to their FB post.

The Governor's Office confirmed over 270 licenses are on the waiting list for NYC mostly for Brooklyn alone.

If this location is approved, this is the first for Glen Oaks to Floral Park vicinity.
