9 locations in NYC changing speed limit

The NYC Dept of Transportation announced change of speed limit from 30 to 25 mph at 9 locations that had high crash rates. For Queens, Northern Blvd and Rockaway Blvd. The city will replace the speed limit on Northern Blvd from 114 Street in Corona to Little Neck Parkway borderline. There is already 25mph on Northern Blvd from LIC to 114 Street with speed cameras. The city will add more speed cameras on Northern Blvd stretch. The other is Rockaway Blvd from 150th Avenue to the Nassau border. For Brooklyn, its Shore Parkway service road, Dahlgren Place and Flatbush Avenue, Webster Avenue and Bruckner Blvd in the Bronx, Targee Street in Staten Island, Riverside Drive in Manhattan.
Of 2,000 speed cameras goal, 950 installed at 750 school zones. The DOT commissioner in a press brief stated the goal is to complete the task by 2021.
Update - The Rockaway Blvd will have speed reduced from 40 to 35mph.
