7 Eleven employee fought back against two robbers in West Hempstead

The attempted robbery happened on Monday, December 18 around 2am at the 7-Eleven in West Hempstead on Hempstead Avenue. Two suspects entered the store and threatened a lone worker, a 67 year old man with a gun. The worker fought back with a kitchen knife that was on the table. Both suspects took off. The worker was not injured. Ongoing investigation.
