5 year old fell to death in Corona

Police were called to a home on 37th Avenue and 99th Street in Corona on Sunday, September 10 around 2:30pm reporting a 5 year old male child fell from third floor bathroom to death on the sidewalk. The male child was with his grandparents in the second floor. The child somehow managed to go to the third floor and the grandparents didn't notice. Residents notice the incident and called 911. The child died at a local hospital. Police are continuing the investigation. No charges has been filed. The latest report shows he has been identified as William Chen who went to third floor to use the bathroom and unable to unlock the door due to defect lock on the door, thus using the window causing to fall.
