415 acre Rikers Island s future to discuss at town hall

On June 6, there will be town hall meeting in Jackson Heights on the post jail future of a renewable Rikers Island on what to do with the 415 acre land. The plan to close Rikers Island is still in the planning stage with the mayor's office. Open to the public. NYC has the plan at this link, https://rikers.cityofnewyork.us/the-plan/
