2027 for Port Washington 2026 for Elmont

For the year 2026, Nassau County will see one of the biggest events with balloons and it's the Belmont racetrack opening in September this year. The $455 million renovation is on schedule to open for the public. At the moment, 8 permits which are still pending for hotels are expected to move forth with construction next year.

For 2027, The Beacon Theater in Port Washington is all to open in 2027 as part of renovation under new ownership to celebrate 100 years. It was sold in 2024 for $2.7 million to the former Bow Tie Cinema which will be restored as the Beacon on Main Street as a dynamic multi use venue with dinner and theater experiences for all.

The next one making the move is yoga with two locations set to announce this summer followed by franchise food markets.
