2 plus 1 people shot on Jamaica Avenue

Police reported 2 people shot on Jamaica Avenue near 148 Street in Jamaica. It happened around 9am. One was a bystander inside the Q8 bus heading to work. One suspect in custody. Ongoing investigation.

Around 3am, a male was shot on Sutphin Blvd and Liberty Avenue in Richmond Hill. So far no arrest and the investigation is ongoing.
