18 year old suspect arrested for the homicide in Oceanside

Police arrested Tyler Flach, 18 of Lido Beach and charged him with 2nd degree homicide. The incident on Wednesday prompted police for massive hunt after Khaseen Morris, 16 was stabbed to death in the parking lot in Oceanside on Monday. The crime was caught on social media on Brower Avenue when 911 calls were reported of large fight around 3:45pm. Flach was arrested today. Morris was a recent transfer to the Oceanside High School.

According to Detective Lt. Stephen Fitzpatrick, "There?s got to be about 50, 60, 70 kids here. We have a handful of kids that have come forward who have identified people involved in this.?

Flach is a former resident of Bellerose. He lived on 254 Street. While attending both Our Lady of Victory School and St Gregory's, he was asked to leave for fights and unruly behavior.

Another teen was injured during the incident. Flach is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.
