14 year old dead after hit by dump struck in Long Island City

Police reported Mario Valenzuela, 14 of Queens died after struck by dump truck in Long Island City. It happened on September 21 around 2pm on Borden Avenue near 11th Street.

Valenzuela was riding his bicycle when the incident happened.

The driver of the truck remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police.

Until September 21 for the year 2019, 21 people died after riding bicycle in NYC.
