13 Injured In multi vehicle collision on the Long Island Expressway eastbound

On Saturday morning around 6:15am, multiple vehicle accident involving over ten vehicles with 13 people injured on the LIE eastbound by Little Neck Parkway Exit. This was a pile up one after another including commercial vehicles making a mess on the expressway causing all lanes to close. 

EMS stated none of the injuries were life threatening.

Six vehicles, including one tractor-trailer, were affected in the crash with another four involving afterward.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
