11 year old injured in a hit and run in Massapequa

Police reported a hit and run in Massapequa. The incident was reported on August 2 around 3:30pm on Eastgate Road. A 11 year old boy was riding his scooter when a red two door pick up truck struck him. Then the driver took off. Police reported the driver is a woman.
