105th Precinct has a new female commanding officer

Inspector Jeffrey Schiff is leaving to a new post at Police Plaza after little more than two years on the job as captain of 105th Precinct in Queens Village. The new officer taking over Schiff's position will be Neteis Gilbert, who is the deputy inspector at the same precinct. Gilbert, 44 is one of the youngest high ranking officer in the NYPD.
