Naked trees only for curbside picking in NYC

The New York City Department of Sanitation will begin its annual curbside collection of Christmas trees on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Collection runs through Saturday, January 12, weather permitting.

All plastic bags, ornaments, stands, lights & tinsel from your tree & leave on the curb.

Trees will be chipped, mixed w/leaves, & recycled into compost for the city?s parks & community gardens. The pick-up includes fake and plastic trees.
