5K reward for any info leading to arrest in Long Island

The SCPD is looking for the suspect wanted for abandoning two dogs at the local park, Sunken Meadows State Park in Long Island.

The incident was reported on March 5 as per the DA's office.

Now investigators are offering a $5,000 reward leading to the arrest of the people wanted for abandoning the two dogs at the park.

A walker at the park picked up the dogs, 4 and 2, now named Thelma and Louis and is at the Town of Smithtown Animal Shelter. The dogs are not microchipped or have no other identification.

Ongoing investigation.
