1 361 289 approved for candidates meeting the matching fund

On Thursday, August 17, The NYC Campaign Finance approved $1,361,289 to the candidates qualified for the matching fund. The city has now shelled out a total of $8,107,725 to 70 qualified candidates with matching fund at the rate of $6 to $1 for the first $175 contribution by private parties. Mayor di Blasio is the only candidate to receive $66,832 for this round. The rest are all NYC Council Candidates.
